Want to make more money than you know what to do with?
Here’s my 5 step approach.
Confidence. Hard Work. Authority. Followers. Make Money.
In that order!
1) Confidence
Be confident in everything you do. Walk with confidence, and hold your head high. Don’t be arrogant, but understand that it takes a certain level of swagger to make it to that next level. Without confidence, people will fear that you don’t know what you are talking about. Speak clearly, and plan ahead. Educate yourself, and avoid talking about topics you have zero knowledge on. Don’t fake the funk, or you will be exposed as a fake! You can’t fix that. True confidence will spread like the flu. Expose yourself to the public, and speak in public every chance you get.
2) Hard Work
Push yourself to the max, and then push yourself a little farther! Every one of us is born to win, all you need to do is scrape off the layers of doubt until you uncover your inner genius. It may take awhile, but as long as you don’t become discouraged, you are destined to crush it! I’m still in the hard work phase of success. When I thought I was doing everything to the extreme, I found out I could be doing so much more. Surround yourself with people that build your confidence and have a similar work ethic. Build yourself a team of dreamers! Just like driving a stick shift….grind it till you find it!
3) Authority
Authority will come naturally if you master steps one and two. As you begin to speak about your business or service, people will start to realize that you are a guru within your industry. All that confidence and hard work will start to build some serious experience. If an idea is expressed through the vision of an authority figure, people tend to obey, trust, and believe what they say. That was aggressively evident during my time in the military. Use articles, endorsements, or influential connections to spread the word. Before you know it, you will be asked to speak at industry conferences as a keynote speaker.
Imagine that? You as an authority within your niche!
4) Followers
As stated above, we as humans tend to follow those that are perceived as an authority figure. Be cautious when wielding this type of power. At this level, it is very important to do your research. It only takes one mistake to lose everything you’ve worked so hard for! Your confidence will be at an all time high. Don’t cross that line between serious swagger, and becoming obnoxious. Continue working hard, and understand that’s it imperative at this point for you to ENJOY YOURSELF!
This is your moment to shine. Soak it all in!
5) Make Money
Finally! The time has come that your financial status is no longer a stressful concern. Money is coming in, and your brand is building more awareness every day. Money can’t buy happiness, but it damn well makes life a little easier. You struggled for months, years, or a decade, and now everything you worked so hard for has arrived. Once a dream, your success has become a reality! You will still need to grind everyday to sustain your greatness, but at this level, you will have a team of supporters that understand your vision. Re-engage will all those personal connections that you’ve made so far, and start turning them into friends. At first you were networking to build your business, but now you can network to build your life away from your business. I’m proud of you!
